Trench Crusade Open Play

Trench Crusade is a miniatures agnostic skirmish game with 2 pages of core rules and alternating unit activations with first games taking under two hours and repeat games taking even less time.

The setting of Trench Crusade plunges players deep into a horrifying alternate timeline. During the Crusades a heretical band of Templars dared defy the Almighty, unleashing the forces of Hell upon the Earth. Over 800 years later, in the Year of Our Lord 1914, this merciless war between the forces of Heaven and Hell rages on in a cataclysmic struggle that will decide the very fate of humanity’s soul.

Miniatures agnostic means that you can proxy any miniature you want to represent the model you want to use, so long as the proxied model uses the same base size.

Skirmish means you need relatively few models to play, usually a warband is 7-10 models. This leads to a relatively short playtime of under 2 hrs for your first play through of the game and I played a game in an hour recently.
